Advanced QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor: How Our Firm Took the Next Step to Meet Your Needs

Reynolds and Associates is proud to announce that Brooke Brown has completed the Advanced QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification program to officially become an Advanced Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
Brooke completed this extensive training program over the past three years to reach the highest level of QuickBooks ProAdvisor status. This program included learning about difficult accounting situations in QuickBooks Online to create more value for our clients.
This advanced certification program sets Reynolds and Associates apart from other accounting firms, as only about 2 percent of QB ProAdvisors are Advanced Certified.
Also because of Brooke’s certification, our firm has achieved the highest level of support classification from Intuit. Reynolds and Associates is now diamond level, higher than lower levels of gold and silver.
How did Brooke Achieve Advanced Certification?
The QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification is achieved by completing five modules covering complex issues in QuickBooks Online. The test requires a passing score of at least 80 percent in each module to receive full certification.
The exam is structured to be much more challenging than standard QuickBooks Online certification. This means it is designed for only accounting professionals or consultants who have a firm grasp of accounting principles and have extensive hands-on experience using QBO.
Each module in the advanced program takes 3-4 hours to pass. Factoring in homework, training courses, and supplemental guides, these modules require 20-25 hours to complete.
But, the process of advanced certification began well before the modules. First, Brooke completed the QBO Certification exam to achieve ProAdvisor status. This was followed by the QBO Advanced Certification exam.
As part of the process, Brooke attended two in-person QBO Certification training courses and two QBO Advanced Certification training courses over the past three years to prepare for the exam. These courses, which are only offered twice per year by Intuit QB professionals, ensured that Brooke was prepared to pass her exam to become an Advanced ProAdvisor.
